What is a Dashboard?

Dashboards are a one stop shop for organizing and viewing essential information. Dashboards can show users detailed information on what's going on within the company so that they have the best resources available to do their job. In this article, we will break down each part of the dashboard so that you are comfortable navigating and utilizing it on a daily basis.

Getting to Know your DashboardFeatured below is an image of what your dashboard will look like, as well as the different functions in it. Now, there's a lot of information displayed there and may be overwhelming at first glance, but let's dive in and break down each section.

The Views

  • Highlighted at the top of the dashboard in red, you'll find Your Jobs Dashboard and the Team Jobs Dashboard. These are two different views you can toggle between, showing you information regarding your active jobs as well as providing you a look at all the jobs the team is working on.

*NOTE. If you need a job put into the system under your name, go into the company chat and request it.

The Filters and Tools

  • The next section takes a look at some helpful tools that allow you organize the information that's being presented on the page.

  • Hide Fields - Starting on the far left you'll find the option to hide certain fields that are displayed. Clicking on the tool then selecting the field you want hidden from the dashboard will result in it disappearing. *Note that the field will still exist and record information, but you won't be able to see it until toggled back on.

  • Filter - Next to that is filter. This allows you to adjust what type of information you want to see for any particular record field.

  • Group - Continuing the journey to the right we have the group tool allowing you to group a selected range of information together. If you look through the tinted filter on the image above you'll notice on the far left that items are grouped by two separate statuses.

  • Sort - Similarly to the rest of the tools, sort allows you to categorize the information in any particular way that allows the user to read it the best.

  • Row Height - Next to that is the row height tool allowing you to adjust the size of the record field cells.

  • Search Bar - Then on the far right of the image, we have the search tool. Where you can search for keywords, numbers, names, etc. in regards to finding information present on the table.

Record Fields

  • Record fields represent the type of information that is being collected and or presented. Looking at the image below, and specifically the Customer Company, Order Number and Status fields, you'll see the corresponding information displayed below the record field. For a full breakdown of these fields proceed to the Dashboard Record Fields Deep Dive

Dashboard Buttons

  • Unlike the rest of the information displayed on the dashboard that is static, the buttons can be interacted with. Clicking on any of the buttons will result in a new window opening displaying a form for you to fill out. (as seen in the image below)

In/Out/Away Board

  • At the bottom of your dashboard, you'll find three tabs with helpful tools labeled "In/Out/Away, Price Tool and Daily Success Tracker."

First we're going to take a look at the In/Out/Away board. Here you'll be able to see a list of your fellow success team coworkers and their current status. Adjust your own status to reflect your availability to take Chats, Calls and Leads. Proactively plan and let your team members know when you are available or of times you are unavailable like for breaks, lunch, an appointment.
